Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive—even when school is not in session.
Through the Summer Food Service Program, Austin SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ will continue to serve free breakfast and lunch to local youth ages 18 and younger, regardless of economic status or whether the child attends ASA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½.
And new this year, Capital Metro is offering free bus rides to all K–12 students, giving children a safe, easy way to get to free meal sites.
Participants enjoy meals without any registration or identification requirements. Children may show up at any participating site to receive a healthy meal.
The Summer Food Service Program will be available at more than 40 ASA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ schools beginning early June.
Participating sites, program dates and meal service times are subject to change.
