Austin, TX— SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ District (ASA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½) Director of Public Relations and Multicultural Outreach Alex Sánchez released the following statement today regarding the cancellation of the football game between Monterrey Tech and Travis High School:

"Upon thoughtful consideration, Austin SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ decided to cancel the October 22nd football game between Monterrey Tech and Travis High School. The district believes that the game would present additional safety concerns."
