Teacher of the Year to be announced
AUSTIN, Texas—Salute, co-hosted by Austin SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ and Austin Partners in Education, is a celebration at the Long Center for the Performing Arts to recognize some of ASA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½'s outstanding team members for their continued dedication to student excellence and achievement in our schools.
What: This year, recognitions include Teacher of the Year, Classified Staff of the Year, Principal of the Year, Librarian of the Year, Counselor of the Year and Assistant Principal of the Year. In addition, National Board Certified Teachers and Teachers of Promise will be honored. The event also will include student performances, a performance from singer songwriter Sara Hickman and a reception.
When: Reception at 5 p.m.; event 6:30–8 p.m., Thursday, May 29
