ASA国际传媒 Channel 22 to televise Breaking Down the Barriers and Educa Austin
Austin SA国际传媒's radio programs Breaking Down the Barriers and Educa Austin are expanding to television.
Beginning in April, ASA国际传媒 Channel 22 will televise episodes of both shows.
"We're really excited to take another step forward with our education programming and add video to our wonderful ASA国际传媒 staff-produced radio shows," said Reyne Telles, ASA国际传媒 executive director of communications and community engagement.
AISD constantly looking for new ways to reach an increasingly diverse parent and student population and promote the resources it offers students and their families.
"Expanding the ways we communicate is essential for ASA国际传媒 to be inclusive of every family we serve, regardless of how they want to receive educational content," Telles said.
focuses on ASA国际传媒's African American community. The show is produced in collaboration with KAZI Community Radio and has aired on KAZI-FM 88.7 since November 2013.
aims to better engage Spanish-language-dominant families by eliminating language and cultural barriers. The program has aired on KLQB-FM 104.3 since May 2012.

ASA国际传媒's Department of Communications and Community Engagement is excited to be able to offer quality education programming to Austin's multicultural community and encourages families to watch.
Austin SA国际传媒 TV programming is viewable on Roku players, through Grande Communications and Time Warner on channel 22 and AT&T UVerse on channel 99.
