Dropout rates also improved in 2016
Austin SA国际传媒鈥檚 Class of 2016 federal graduation rate for all students rose to 90.7 percent, with gains made in every student group.

The greatest increase was in the African-American student group, which rose to 88.4 percent, up 3.8 percentage points over the prior year. The special education graduation rate also increased significantly, rising to 72.8 percent, a 2.4 percentage point gain over the prior year.
For the 2015鈥16 school year, the federal dropout rate for all students also improved, decreasing to 1.1 percent. The greatest improvement was in the dropout rate of English Language Learner students, which decreased nearly a percentage point to 1.9 percent. The dropout rate of special education students decreased by a half of a percentage point to 1.6 percent, while the dropout rate of African-American students increased by six-tenths of a percentage point to 2 percent.
