In 1980, the first PALS (Peer Assistance Leadership & Service) program began at Crockett High School. Today, there are more than 1000 trained PALS in Austin SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ elementary, middle and high schools. 


The Austin SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ PALS program enables young people to use their potential to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Serving as student mentors to younger peers, PALS build tolerance and community-mindedness in their schools and communities. Learn More
