Overview
Casis Elementary School began as a joint enterprise of the Austin Public Schools and the University of Texas. The school opened in 1951 with a regular school program, facilities and instruction for physically handicapped children, and an observation and demonstration center for the general improvement of education in Texas. Casis today prides itself on continuing the rich legacy of meeting all children's needs. Along with special education programming and a strong academic
foundation, Casis offers Spanish. Casis Elementary is a newly modernized campus as a result of the 2017 Bond.
La Escuela Primaria Casis comenz贸 como una empresa conjunta de las escuelas p煤blicas de Austin y la Universidad de Texas. La escuela abri贸 en 1951 con un programa escolar regular, instalaciones e instrucci贸n para ni帽os f铆sicamente discapacitados, y un centro de observaci贸n y demostraci贸n para la mejora general de la educaci贸n en Texas.
