Govalle Elementary School has served East Austin students since 1931. Building on a strong tradition of community engagement, Govalle partners with families to offer a world of opportunities - from arts and athletics to reading and robotics.

Govalle is proud to provide Pre-K and Dual Language programs, AVID College Readiness, rich fine arts opportunities, outdoor learning experiences, and robust science, technology, engineering, and math programs. Govalle's inclusive school culture honors diversity and maintains high expectations for all students.

Govalle was the first school to fully implement the district's Social and Emotional Learning initiative. Govalle is part of the Eastside family of schools, which offer AVID programs at every grade level and a quality arts-rich education to every child through the Creative Learning Initiative.

La Escuela Primaria Govalle ha servido a los estudiantes del este de Austin desde 1931. Basándose en una sólida tradición de participación comunitaria, Govalle se asocia con las familias para ofrecer un mundo de oportunidades: desde artes y deportes, hasta lectura y robótica.
