Overview
Travis Heights Elementary School is a community built on collaboration. Travis Heights celebrates individuality and diversity, and our Thunderbirds create an exciting educational environment for all students to learn, serve, and lead. Our school is nestled among the homes of the historic Travis Heights neighborhood adjacent to Big Stacy Park, which gives teachers ample opportunities to use nature as a classroom and to bring students outdoors for recreation and physical education. Travis Heights offers a world of educational opportunities including Pre-K, Dual Language and service learning programs, as well as innovative digital strategies to make lessons come alive for students. Our tightly-knit community nurtures children's imaginative minds and abilities through the district's Creative Learning Initiative and rich fine arts programs. Travis Heights is part of the Travis Early College High School family of schools, which offers students the opportunity to earn college credit and graduate with an associate degree
